InfraSky · Netherlands and UAE astronomy planning

Turn sky conditions into a responsible tourism operating decision.

InfraSky connects the guest promise with the actual viewing opportunity. Explore the Netherlands workspace for Amsterdam, Overveen and Lauwersmeer, or use the original UAE planning demo through the country selector.

Astronomy experience planning · Amsterdam and the Netherlands

Choose Amsterdam indoor astronomy, a nearby observatory or a regional dark-sky excursion. Confirm access and weather, check seasonal darkness and download an operating brief. The original UAE planner remains below.

Prototype boundary: manually entered checks; no live traffic, weather, bookings or compliance verification. Locations and routes are research candidates, not supplier partnerships.

Operational honesty: InfraSky does not guarantee Milky Way, meteor or planet visibility. Forecast information is clearly separated from long-range planning estimates. Every confirmed operation must be re-checked 72 hours and 24 hours before service, with final on-site safety authority held by the operating team.
Public data policyForecasts are public/open-access only inside provider windows.

Weather and air-quality calls use Open-Meteo public APIs where available. Full-year planning dates are not live forecasts; they are astronomy, meteor-calendar and seasonal planning estimates.

Operating ruleManagement decision: Go Show, Watch, or No Show.

InfraSky separates sales confidence from field safety. Every confirmed service still needs 72-hour, 24-hour and on-site checks before the final guest promise.

How it works

One planning flow, designed for sales and delivery.

InfraSky combines location operating data, product-specific astronomy logic, forecast availability, dust/haze indicators, comfort, transport feasibility and camp-lighting readiness. The result is a transparent decision—not a technical astronomy promise.

1. Evaluate conditions

Location darkness, access, weather, air quality, Moon brightness, seasonal sky context and guest comfort are separated into transparent scores.

2. Match the product

Milky Way photography, lunar telescope nights, family experiences and meteor campaigns use different weighting. A bright Moon can trigger a smarter product switch.

3. Operate responsibly

The dashboard converts the decision into times, sales wording, guide and driver briefs, field checks, escalation actions, annual planning and integration-ready payloads.

Sky Intelligence

From one selected night to a professional stargazing brief.

InfraSky is not only a score. After the user enters the date, location and product, the MVP explains what the sky may feel like, which constellations are useful, when they appear or disappear, and what the guide should say on that specific night.

01

Season and comfort

Winter, spring, summer and autumn change guest comfort, haze risk, Milky Way potential and the safest product promise.

02

Moon and darkness

The report separates Moon phase, illumination, estimated rise/set, astronomical darkness and product suitability.

03

Constellation window

Each visible constellation card shows the best season, appears/disappears notes and the story angle for the guide.

04

Sky map logic

The current MVP gives a text-based sky map and guide story plan. A future version can connect to a real sky-map API or planetarium engine.

05

Operation decision

InfraSky converts the sky context into sell, watch, avoid or no-go guidance with risk notes and backup product suggestions.

06

Team outputs

The result creates sales copy, guide briefing, guest WhatsApp, driver/camp briefing, SOP, checklist and export payloads.
